South Chicago Dance Festival

South Chicago Dance Festival is the arts service arm of South Chicago Dance Theatre. In 2018, SCDT founded and hosted the first annual South Chicago Dance Festival and since, SCDF has become a hallmark of dance on Chicago’s south side. SCDF operates with donated space from the South Shore Cultural Center and provides a multitude of opportunities for community members to engage with local performers, choreographers, students, dance studios, collegiate dance organizations, dance scholars and international artists.
